How the Double bet calculator works
Enter two prices and a stake. The calculator multiplies the odds, applies any profit boosts or exchange commission, and shows total return alongside net winnings. If you enable each-way, it splits the stake across win and place legs for both selections and shows win, place, and combined returns. You can also mark either leg as a winner, loser, void, or unsettled to inspect the resulting return.
- Potential and realised return for the combined two-selection line.
- Boost and commission fields that recalc instantly.
- Each-way support for both selections with editable place terms.
- Cash and free-bet stake types.
- Win, loss and void settlement controls for each leg.
- Save completed calculations to Profit Tracker with an AiProfit account.
Football double example at 2.10 and 3.00
A GBP 10 double on two football selections priced 2.10 and 3.00 has combined odds of 6.30. If both win, the return is GBP 63 and the profit is GBP 53. If either selection loses, the whole double loses, which is why the calculator shows the combined price before you commit.
Doubles vs two singles or a treble
Choose a double when you want more upside than two separate singles but less fragility than a treble. The trade-off is simple: one losing leg removes the return.
Reload-offer use case and double mistakes
Doubles can suit reload offers where two strong prices must be combined to reach a minimum odds rule. The common mistake is adding a weak second leg just to qualify. Check the combined odds, then decide whether the expected promo value justifies linking the selections.
Frequently asked questions
What is a double bet?
A bet covering two selections where both must win. The calculator shows exact return and profit for your stake.
Can I compare boosted prices?
Yes. Enter the boost percentage or adjusted odds and totals refresh automatically so you see the uplift.
Does it help with hedging?
It shows the bookmaker return, but it does not calculate exchange lay stakes. Use the Matched Betting Calculator for back-and-lay staking.
What if one leg is void?
The double reverts to a single on the remaining leg. You can model that by marking a leg as void.
Do both legs need to win in a double?
Yes. A double only returns if both selections win.
